Wild Ones

This seems to be a really popular series. It hasn’t really interested me that much so it has me skimming through it rather that seriously taking it in.

The guy and girl are drawn young and pretty and it does seem geared towards a younger audience who’s looking for a typical shojo. There is the very popular guy in a very popular theme – to have the guy be beholden in some way to the girl (like he’s her employee – e.g. bodyguard, butler, gardener ??). In this case, because of the influence of the girl’s grandfather, he has to protect and stay with her because he’s been assigned to be her bodyguard. So, that becomes a bone of contention in the love story cos it’s like does he do the (sweet) things he does because he likes her or out of duty?
